Should I register to place my ads?
Registration is optional to post a classified advertisement on Tusmirt. If you do not want to sign up, simply follow the instructions below.
How do I post a classified advertisement on Tusmirt?
The publication of an ad on Tusmirt is completely free and very simple. Simply follow the instructions below:
- Click on " Post an ad" at the top of every page.
- Choose a place of your choice.
- Then select the category in which you want to place your ad.
- On the next page, enter the information necessary to create your ad. Enter a title, a price (if applicable) and the description of the goods or services you offer. You can upload up to four photos and enter your address (if you prefer, you can specify only one city nearby).
- Enter your correct e-mail address so that we can send you a confirmation e-mail.
- If you have a Tusmirt account enter your password in the box provided.
- Check your mailbox: you receive an e-mail from Tusmirt to complete the publication of your ad. You only have to click on the link below.
- Congratulations: your ad is automatically available online and can be read by all Tusmirt users!
How do I insert images / photos in my ad?
When you are on “Post an ad” page, enter the type of your ad, the title and a description. Then click the "Browse" button at the stage "Pictures". Select a file of images / photos on your computer hard drive and click "OK". The image will then be uploaded and attached to your ad. You can add up to three additional images using the same process.
Remember that a picture is worth a thousand words and that inserting one or more in your ad will increase your chances to receive numerous responses. But remember that pornographic images are banned by Tusmirt: these ads are deleted.
Can I use HTML tags or URLs in my ads?
Tusmirt does not allow HTML in advertisements on the site. In designing your ad, you can develop various tools (see answer below).
The URLs you add should be for the purpose of information about the item or service that you offer. They shall in no circumstances be intended to promote a site. If so, your ad will be deleted from Tusmirt.
How can I increase my chances to get answers to my ad?
To increase your chances of getting answers, these are a few simple tools that are very effective for increasing your chances to get successful results:
- Insert one or more images / photos in your ad (Click on "Browse" and select images / photos on your hard drive)
- Use a title and a description as specific as possible. For example, when you sell a product, specify its brand, its model number, condition and features.
- If you are flexible with regard to price, specify that you accept the "best offer".
- Arrange it so that it is easy for the buyer to recover the article, tell them where it is located and when you are available.
- Tell your friends about Tusmirt. The more people who use Tusmirt, the more you will get answers! You can send your ad to your loved ones (go on your ad and click on "Email this ad")
How do I post a classified advertisement in several cities?
Tusmirt is a site of local classifieds. The interest is to maximize for both providers and claimants their chances of finding what they are looking for. It is intentionally that we do not allow the simultaneous advertisement in several cities. We recommend you to post your ad in the city closest to your home or the most appropriate in relation to your ad.
Why do I get errors when I post an ad?
Make sure first that your content is not in contradiction with our rules on prohibited content. If your ad does not violate our rules, but errors are always displayed key review the text of this announcement and eliminate any potentially offensive language. Indeed, some words are blocked by our system in compliance with a number of ethical rules. If you still have problems, contact us by providing the title and text of your ad, and we will help you to identify and delete the prohibited words.
Why haven’t I received a confirmation e-mail?
If you have not received a confirmation e-mail for the publication of your ad, first check the file "junk mail" or "spam" in your mailbox (at the address you communicated when creating your ad). If the confirmation e-mail is not there, click here and the Tusmirt team will send it to you again.
Why has my ad been removed from the site?
Several reasons can be the cause of the withdrawal of an advertisement on the site. Tusmirt indeed adopt a policy to ensure the quality of the ads and users safety. Here are some possible reasons for your ad been removed?
- The ad violated our rules on prohibited content .
- Some users have reported that the ad was "prohibited" or "contained a prohibited object."
- The ad was published in a number of cities (Tusmirt is a site of local classified ads: Make sure you publish only in your city.)
- The ad will automatically expire after 90 days.
How long does my ad remain on the site?
The ads are automatically removed from the site after 90 days. You may withdraw your ad of the site at any time or republish after the expiration date by following the steps described below. But be sure that your ad is still valid before republishing it.
How can I modify, republish or delete my ad on the site?
If you are registered on Tusmirt click here to modify or delete your ad. If you are not a registered user, find out the activation e-mail "complete the publication of your ad" that has been sent to you by Tusmirt following the creation of your ad. This e-mail contains various links to manage your ad. You can either: "Get this ad", "Delete this ad", "Change this ad" "Republish this ad". If you have lost or deleted this e-mail, click here so that we can send it back to you.
How can I complete a transaction using Tusmirt?
Tusmirt aims in principle to conduct only local transactions. If you buy or sell a product, the transaction should be carried out in person at a location determined by the two sides. In this way, you can avoid shipping cost, exchange rates, and most importantly, minimizing the risk of fraud.
How do I report fraudulent or unwanted messages that I receive?
If you receive suspicious emails from Tusmirt users, please let us know. You just have to transmit information on these messages to our consumers. Click on "Contact" (link at the bottom of each page), write a title. Provide your name and contact information, the contents of the response received without forgetting the e-mail address of the person you are responding.
How do I contact someone who has posted an ad?
Answering an ad is completely free and very simple. To contact the person who published an ad, use the form found at the bottom of the advertisement page. Enter your name, a valid email address and your message. Click on "Submit". The person who released the ad will then receive an e-mail from Tusmirt containing your e-mail and your message. He will answer directly by e-mail, without going through Tusmirt. Remember to check that you typed your e-mail correctly; otherwise the seller will not re-establish contact with you. You can also contact the seller directly by phone if he has indicated his phone numbers in his ad.
Are the ads checked before being posted on the site?
We check and control ads posted on Tusmirt on a daily basis. Unfortunately, we cannot check all ads contents. If you see an ad that looks prohibited, fraudulent, illegal or ranked poorly, please let us know by clicking on the link at the bottom right corner of the ads page. You can help us to ensure quality and safety to all Tusmirt users.
What should I do if I see an advertisement that is, in my opinion, prohibited, fraudulent, illegal or poorly classified?
If you see an advertisement that appears to be forbidden, fraudulent, illegal or ranked poorly, please let us know by clicking on the link at the top of the ads page.
What is an alert and how does it help Tusmirt community?
Tusmirt team cannot check all ads every day; our reporting tools enable all Tusmirt users who visit the site to identify the ads that should not be found. This contributes to our monitoring work to ensure the quality, clarity and security of Tusmirt.
When an ad was reported not to be conforming to Tusmirt regulation, our team can act quickly to remove it. We can report an ad as "spam", "Forbidden", "In the wrong category."
What are the remedies available if my deal goes wrong or if I am the subject of a fraud?
If you feel that your transaction with another user in Tusmirt went wrong, or that you were deceived by fraudulent ads on the site, please let us know. We can then take steps to prevent this user to act again on Tusmirt.

Does Tusmirt offer any mediation between buyers and sellers?
Tusmirt is a local platform to bring together sellers and seekers of goods and services.
